Cric-360 BioMech
by the Cogni Qube team
Privacy Policy
Cric-360 BioMech is made by the Cogni Qube team ("we"). This page explains, in plain words, what we collect when you use the app, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and name, and — if you sign in with Google — the name and email on your Google account. Your password is handled by Google Firebase; we never see it.
- Your player details, if you enter them: age, role, playing level, bowling and batting hand, height and the avatar you pick.
- Your videos: the clips you record or choose from your gallery, cut to a few seconds around the delivery. A clip can include sound if you let the app use the microphone. Your videos stay in your phone’s gallery; we send a clip to our analysis servers only to measure it.
- Your results: the body positions found in each clip, the measurements worked out from them, and your sessions, progress, badges and levels.
- Squads: if you coach, the names and details of the bowlers you add and the email addresses you invite. If you join a squad, which squad you are in.
- Messages you send to the team through "Contact the Cogni Qube team".
- Your plan: which plan you bought, its status and dates, and the purchase reference Google Play gives us. Payments are made in Google Play; we never see your card or bank details.
- Your phone, for notifications: the address Firebase uses to reach your phone, your time zone (so nothing buzzes at night) and the notifications you switched on or off.
- Crash reports: when the app crashes, a report of what went wrong, your phone model, Android and app version, and your account's random id — never your name or email.
- A check that the app is genuine (Google Play Integrity), so our servers only answer the real Cric-360 app.
What we do not collect
- Your location, contacts, calls or messages.
- Your other photos and videos — only the clips you choose.
- Anything for advertising. There are no ads and no ad tracking in Cric-360.
Why we use it
- To analyse your bowling and show you the results.
- To keep your history so you can see how your action changes over time, on any phone you sign in on.
- To run squads, so a coach and their bowlers see the same results.
- To give you the plan you paid for and count its deliveries.
- To answer your messages and send the notifications you asked for.
- To find and fix crashes and keep the app and servers safe.
- To improve Cric-360. We may study results and clips to make the analysis more accurate, and only inside the team.
Who else handles your data
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. A few services handle it for us, only to run Cric-360:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): sign-in, the database that keeps your account and results, notifications, crash reports and the genuine-app check.
- Google Play: payments and plans, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Hostinger, our email provider: it sends the emails that confirm your email address or make a new password, so it receives your email address and first name.
- Our analysis servers, run by the Cogni Qube team, which receive your clips and work out the measurements.
- Your coach, only if you accept their invite to a squad. They see your bowling results and history while you are in their squad. Other bowlers in the squad never see yours.
- We may share data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or Cric-360 from fraud or harm.
Where it is kept and how it is protected
- Your account and results are kept in Google Cloud, mainly in India (Mumbai). Some Google services, like crash reports and payments, may process data in other countries, including the United States.
- Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). Only you can read your account; a coach can read your results only while you are in their squad.
- No system is perfectly safe. If something ever puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it
- Your account, results and messages: until you delete your account. We keep text and numbers only — never your videos or photos.
- Clips sent for analysis: deleted from our analysis servers within a day. Your own copy stays in your phone’s gallery until you delete it there.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- When you delete your account, your data is removed from the app straight away, and your videos are erased from our analysis servers within 30 days.
- After deletion we keep only a record with no name or email in it — which videos had to be erased and that it was done — to prove the deletion happened.
- Google Play keeps its own record of your purchases under Google's privacy policy.
Deleting your account
- In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. It deletes your account and everything stored with it, and cannot be undone. Videos saved in your phone’s gallery are yours and stay there.
- A paid plan is stopped from renewing when you delete your account. If Google Play ever shows it still active, cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
- No longer have the app? Visit https://cric360-biomech-app.web.app/delete-account, or email hello@cogniqube.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
- Leaving a squad does not delete anything: your history stays yours.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details any time in Settings.
- Switch notifications off in Settings, and the camera, microphone or gallery off in your phone's settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask any question about it, through Contact the Cogni Qube team or hello@cogniqube.com.
- Delete your account and data at any time (see above).
- Where your local law gives you more rights — for example in the EU or UK — you have those too, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Children
- You need to be 13 or older to create a Cric-360 account. Players aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian to agree to the Terms and this policy with them.
- A coach may add a younger player to their squad without an account for that player, and must first have the parent or guardian's permission to film and analyse them.
- If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it. A parent who thinks this has happened can write to hello@cogniqube.com.
Changes to this policy
- If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and its date, and tell you in the app before the change matters.
Contact
- Cogni Qube team — in the app: Profile → Contact the Cogni Qube team. By email: hello@cogniqube.com.
