Terms & Conditions
Cric-360 BioMech is made by the Cogni Qube team. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short and written in plain words.
What Cric-360 does
Cric-360 helps cricketers and coaches understand a bowling action from video.
- Records a delivery with your phone camera, or imports a clip you filmed with your camera app.
- Sends the clip to our analysis servers, which find the body's joints in every frame.
- Shows the measurements — release, arm, stride, front leg, alignment — on stills from your own video, explained in plain words.
- Keeps your sessions so you can see how your action changes over time, and lets coaches keep a squad of players.
- Flags patterns worth a closer look in "Injury watch".
What Cric-360 does not do
- It is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any injury or condition.
- It does not replace a qualified coach, physiotherapist or doctor.
- It does not judge whether an action is legal under the Laws of Cricket and must not be used for officiating or for reporting a suspect action.
- It does not promise better performance, more pace, selection or any other result.
- Its numbers are estimates from video, not certified measurements.
How accurate the numbers are
Every measurement is worked out from the video, so the video sets the limit. Results can be off, or missing, when:
- the camera angle is not side-on, front-on or behind as the setup guide shows;
- the frame rate is low, the clip is blurred or the light is poor;
- the full body — head to feet — is not in the frame all the way through;
- loose clothing, other people or objects hide the joints.
Injury watch
- Injury watch points out movement patterns that coaching research links to extra load on the body. It is a prompt to talk to a professional — never a diagnosis.
- If you feel pain, stop bowling and get advice from a doctor or physiotherapist.
You are responsible for
- Filming safely: keep the camera and anyone holding it out of the line of the ball, use a stand, and warm up before bowling.
- Having permission to film and upload anyone who appears in a clip. For players under 18, a parent or guardian must agree.
- If you are under 18, having a parent or guardian agree to these terms with you.
- Keeping your password private and your profile details correct.
Your videos and data
- Clips you send are uploaded to our servers so they can be analysed, and kept with your account so you can see results and progress.
- We use your data to run and improve Cric-360. We do not sell it. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and for how long.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.
Squads (Squad and Club plans)
- A coach on a Squad or Club plan can invite you to their squad. You join only if you accept.
- While you are in a squad, that coach can see your bowling stats and history and can film deliveries for you. Other bowlers in the squad cannot see your stats.
- While you are in a squad, your analyses use the coach’s plan and its monthly credits.
- You can leave a squad at any time in Profile → My squad. Your history stays in your account; the coach keeps only what they filmed before you joined.
- Coaches: if you coach bowlers under 18, you need their parent or guardian’s permission to film and analyse them.
Plans and payments
- Free accounts include a small number of analyses.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed by Google Play. They renew automatically until you cancel in Google Play.
- A plan's analysis credits reset each billing month and do not carry over.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies.
Please do not
- Upload clips you do not have the right to share, or anything offensive or unlawful.
- Try to copy, break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its servers.
- Share your account or resell the analysis.
What we are not responsible for
- Injuries, pain or losses that happen while filming, training or playing, or from acting on what the app shows.
- Selection, coaching, contract or officiating decisions made using the app's results.
- Results that are wrong or missing because of the video (see "How accurate the numbers are").
- Breaks in service, lost clips or changes to features. We work to keep Cric-360 running well but provide it "as is", as far as the law allows.
Ending and changes
- You can stop using Cric-360 at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
- We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app, and the version you agreed to is kept with your account.
